Heart Internet Launches Security & Reputation Monitoring Software

Web hosting provider Heart Internet (www.heartinternet.co.uk) announced on Monday it has partnered with StopTheHacker (www.stopthehacker.com), becoming the first UK web host to offer their SaaS website security services, along with a customised light version for Heart Internet reseller customers.
As part of the partnership, Heart Internet is integrating StopTheHacker’s tools into their control panel to offer website security and online reputation monitoring services directly to their customers and for their resellers to sell to clients. StopTheHacker provides customers with software to protect their websites from existing malicious code injections and known malware. The software is fully hosted in the cloud and is designed to complement existing anti-spam, anti-virus, and network firewalls. Additional features include in-depth website vulnerability reports to determine if a site is vulnerable to a hacker exploit, and blacklist and reputation monitoring scans to determine if a website has being blacklisted in the search engines so you can take action to improve your online reputation.
The importance of maintaining an on-going security presence was highlighted recently by research conducted by Verizon into website data breaches. Their study found that 92% of breaches came from external agents using multiple methods to achieve their goals, with 89% utilizing some form of hacking and 79% incorporating malware.
