About E-NOISE
E-NOISE was founded by owner Lupo Montero in 2005 as a "bedroom start up" after having built a handful of websites and web apps for his own projects, friends and family. E-NOISE offers friendly hosting and creative web design with a special focus on WordPress and Joomla sites. Their target audience today is mainly small and medium size web agencies, designers and academia.
E-NOISE and Heart Internet
E-NOISE has been a customer and reseller of Heart Internet's products and services for nearly 4 years. "Before hosting with Heart Internet we used to host most of our clients sites (and our own) with cheaper providers based outside of the EU" explained Lupo, "But after many issues with customer support and quality of service we decided to try a UK based provider we could work more closely with and Heart Internet had the right products and services for us at the time. Over the years this has proved to be one of the most important decisions in the relatively short history of E-NOISE."
After over two years hosting their main website on a shared server with Heart Internet, Lupo and E-NOISE decided to move to a dedicated server as their website's traffic started to grow. "We felt we needed more control over the server in terms of configuration, security and performance. The dedicated servers have allowed us to look into scaling our web applications while substantially improving both performance and security. All of this along with access to the server's root account gives you so much power."
Lupo and E-NOISE have big plans for the company and dedicated servers: "We currently host our public e-commerce site on the dedicated server, as well as other web applications we are using in the development of an Open Source PHP framework that we are planning to release within the next few weeks." In addition to the dedicated servers, E-NOISE also resells GNU/Linux shared web hosting, domain names and SSL security certificates.
Customer Support
In the year and a half that E-NOISE have had the dedicated servers, Lupo's experience of using Heart Internet Dedicated Server support has been very positive: "We have not needed any ‘special’ customer support as the servers have run uninterruptedly since then, only having experienced a ‘billing’ issue that was satisfactorily resolved. As a reseller, we actively recommend and promote Heart Internet products and services because of our own very positive experience. And we are really happy with the service and products!"
The Future
Lupo sees Heart Internet as a key partner is his company's ongoing growth and expansion: "Our medium and long-term plans are to focus on becoming a more specialised hosting provider. We are working to achieve this by delivering our new website in the next few weeks that will offer reseller packages and incorporate the Heart Internet API at the core. This will allow us to improve the experience and introduce several powerful tools to our customers."
