We are just starting to go through all the data but we have already seen a number of ideas and suggestions we really like. All the positive feedback about our services was great to hear, and it’s always nice to know when you are doing things right, but just as important was the feedback where you think we can improve.

The survey has helped us identify some gaps that we need to fill, and that’s just what we are going to do. For example, one of the most common requests was for more marketing and business support material. If you were one of those people, keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks!

It was great to be ranked last year, but to be listed for a second year shows it wasn’t a flash in the pan and we are continuing to grow at a tremendous rate. Our reseller hosting is now clearly the market leader, in terms of both customers and technology, and our web hosting and dedicated servers are going through the roof.

We would like to be able to take all credit for this, but the truth is we can’t. So much of our success has been based on your thoughts and ideas made through the online feedback form in the customer control panel. How we can improve existing products or new features and functionality you would like to see adding are more than just welcome, we thrive on it.

We are not kidding when we say we have implemented thousands of these suggestions, we literally have done just that. And that’s why we have grown so quickly. We absolutely refuse to become a clichéd stale and complacent web host trading on past glories, and we continuously invest in new hardware, software and people.

What to write about?
The aim of our blog is to provide our readers with practical ideas they can apply to their own website. For example, you could write about:
•    Social media best practise
•    “How to…” style mini- guides for Photoshop
•    Resources for CMS (WordPress, Expression Engine, Joomla etc)
•    Step by step tutorials for Perl, PHP, Ruby etc
•    SEO tips and advice (On site or off site)
•    User experience (design, testing and improving)
•    Analytics (beginner and advanced)
•    Etc

There are no hard rules about length of the copy, but it needs to be original (i.e. not published elsewhere), interesting to read, cover a topic to a good level and be relevant.

No limits on how customisable you want it to be
Every aspect of your reseller hosting is fully customisable with no extra fees required to make it so. If you can think of it you can brand it.

No limits on adding more features
We want you to be a success and the best way to do that is untie your hands and let you sell without fear of being charged more for doing well!

The price we charge per month (£29.99) or per year (£299.99) is the only fee we will want from you for your reseller hosting. There are no hidden fees or extras to unlock features that are an essential part of reselling hosting. We won’t charge you to give your customers a control panel, to re-brand the webmail or offer graphical stats and we won’t give you a basic package (e.g. 5 MySQL free) and then ask you to pay for more afterwards.

No limits on what you can sell
We don’t charge you an extra monthly fee for the ability to resell domain names or dedicated servers; you just pay the cost of the domain or server itself. This means that if for any reason you don’t sell any over a time period you don’t have to pay us anything.

In the event this happens to you, or if you are a reseller, one of your customers, all is not lost! In the renewals section of the Heart Internet Customer Control Panel you can now renew domain names that have been set to cancel or have not been automatically renewed due to a failed payment.

The section is called “Cancelled Domain Names” and is at the bottom of the page. Cancelled domains will appear in here for 28 days, the customer can click for the domain to be moved back into the main renewals list where they can either renew it now or let it be auto renewed on the next try.
