Posted by Matthew on 28/12/2011

This competition is now closed. No new entries will be approved.

The “New Adventures in Web Design” conference is only 3 weeks away and it is completely sold out. However, we have the last two tickets to giveaway. Update: We now have two sets of tickets to giveaway, meaning there will be two winners!

If you can get yourself to Nottingham on Thursday 19th January and you want to listen to some of the web design industry’s leading names talk about topics close to their heart (no pun intended), then you don’t want to miss out on this.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment below answering this question (make sure you tell us your email address so we can get in touch if you win, it won’t be published).

“What makes great web hosting?”

We will pick the winner at random at 12pm on Friday 6th January.

The conference’s details can be found here. Please only enter if you know you can make it, we really want these tickets to go to people who will be able to go.

    Freedom.

  3. Breandán says:

Great hosting is knowing the full application stack. Not just what’s in the docs — all of the niggly details that make the difference between a website works and one that really flies.

  4. Matt Watson says:

A great hosting company has a personality akin to a friend – someone who you can ask a favour of, get advice from and contact them via phone / email / etc.

  5. David McCann says:

Technical support which is easy to contact and who respond quickly (i.e. via Twitter), the option of paying monthly, 1-click installs on packages such as WordPress and hosting that allows for multiple domains.

  6. Steven O'Keefe says:

Great hosting needs to have no downtime, and good support

  7. Steve Martin says:

Configurability (is that even a word?).
    Support.
