Resellers can now enjoy 25% discount on any new servers (either monthly or yearly) – so if you’re buying a Linux Dual Core, for example, it will be £59.99/month rather than £79.99/month. You can choose to pass these savings on to your customers and/or increase your profits as you wish.
To take advantage of these new dedicated server prices, you must be a Heart Internet web hosting reseller ordering new servers (Please note: Our new pricing doesn’t apply to existing machines). The new pricing will be automatically applied when you sign up for a new server.

Is this a permanent offer? Or a short term offer – but one I much approve of.
The only other thing to make this all more competitive would be speed of connection up from 10mbps to 100, but that won’t affect me at this stage.

I agree with Neil, its a shame that the speed of the line is limited to 10mbit right now, when other providers are handing out servers with 100mbit, we kinda loose new customers with this limitation
Some ideas for cool servers:
- More space (e.g. 2x 1TB HDD’s – since they are quite cheap these days)
- More bandwidth/speed (100mbit+)
- Cheaper IP’s or at least an option to buy blocks of IP’s like you can on other providers (e.g. 50 IP’s for £15/m)
- More optional Panels like plesk?
- A wider choice of OS’s if possible (Windows and Linux Distro’s, vmware esxi if possible?)
- Free Backup Space (at least 10GB free with each server, most providers give you 100GB free).
The above of course are just ideas and options that I think customers would love to have at some point (which of course will increase the number of sales for HI).

Now I can reduce my prices too and push for more selling. Today Heart Internet is offering the resellers to compete against other companies.
One more thing I would really appreciate to reduce it’s price is the MS Sql monthly charge. £10/m is currently very high comparing to other hosting companies (in fact many offer the first database free) and the space of 200mb is just too low
I hope Heart Internet will offer us a better package for MS Sql.
Worse timing ever i recently switched from a Reseller package i had for almost 2 years, i now have a Windows Dedicated server and have to pay the more expensive price I’ve only had it two months as well.
Really bad timing.
Will these new lower prices be available on renewal of my server.

The prices are exclusively or our Reseller Pro customers to help them increase their competitiveness in the server market place. Customers with standalone Heart Internet dedicated servers are charged our normal rates.

All the other points aside this is a fantastic move, and thank you. As this will really help towards securing those dedicated server customers.
I have to agree though blocks of IP’s and ip branding to our business are a must to secure the resellers that want to move into cpanel and whm sales as the ip range is always branded to heart so we cannot secure our identity.
