WHMCS modules for web hosting and domain registration now available

Posted by Ben on 29/06/2010

If you use WHMCS to look after your online business’ client management, billing and/ or support you can now manage your Heart Internet reseller web hosting using WHMCS as well. Supported functionality includes, registering and transferring domain names (plus renewals), web hosting account creation and suspension, automatic upgrades/downgrades, and password resets (from the client & admin area).

To download the Heart Internet module go to www.whmcs.com/members/dl.php?type=d&id=52 and to install simply upload the files to the modules folder of your WHMCS installation. Then follow the guides here http://wiki.whmcs.com/Heart_Internet for setting up and configuring the modules.

Your Heart Internet API authorisation code can be found through your Reseller Control Centre here https://customer.heartinternet.co.uk/manage/api

    Bijan,

I Have amended the post to add a direct link to the set up instructions which can be found here http://wiki.whmcs.com/Heart_Internet

    Hope that helps

    Matt

You guys are great! :) This is a fantastic addition to your services!

  4. Patrik says:

I had this custom built by WHMCS early this year and it works great, do you know if this is the same code or something Heart has developed in-house?

  5. Gary Hampton says:

I cant get this code to work. The setup instructions are very easy but I have been at it all day. I contacted Heart Internet support, they said they couldn’t help as it wasn’t their module. hopefully WHMCS support can help ease my frustration :)

Just as I was about to cancel my account after not being able to get the module to work, I got in touch with a helpful customer support rep called Leon. He told me the API details on the API page would not work for this module as they had upgraded the system since the module was built, but the old API auth details could be taken out of the code on the instant activation page. So, all is well and what a great module :)

Dear Gary. I read your above reply as im struggling to get the automation to work. Please can you clarify what you mean by the above quoted statement. Are you saying one needs to take out the code to get it to work or what. Im really lost

Please help and finally, is your automation now working. would be helpful if u can share how you got this to work. I just installed the whmcs abiut 3 weeks ago

    thanks

    BUMP!

I’d really like to know where you sourced the Auth, also which server login and password should be used.

    Cheers

    Ramon
