Some Updates

Some Updates

Posted by Jonathan on 30/07/2008

We have made a few updates to the system today, the main one is that you can now unzip zip files in the eXtend file manager. This is handy if you have downloaded a new CGI/PHP package you wish to install or if you are uploading lots of images. Just right click on the zip file and choose “Unzip” from the menu.

A couple of the CGI scripts you can install from eXtend have also been updated:

- ZenCart has been upgraded from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8
- OpenAds from 2.4.0 to 2.4.7.

Genius – That’s brilliant – I think unzippability is something I’ve suggested in the past (and I’m sure others have too) so it’s great to see it come in to the offering!
    Cheers

Would it be possible to add the ability to unzip tar files etc.? A lot of stuff I want to upload comes in that format and it’d be handy to be able to do that without SSH.
