With modern SEO techniques the META keywords really arent required and serve little purpose. Page Title and Description are by far the most important (and sometimes overlooked) page optimisation methods. Get them right and It will make all the difference. Although Google may not user META as much now, they still do use them, as do other directories such as msn. Google might be king for the time being, but they're not god.
